All my favorite people who were at the airport:
1.) The guy at the Grand Rapids airport working security at the terminal who asked my brother if he was familiar with the procedure for dropping off passengers. "You must clear the area as SOON as the luggage has been unloaded." I was highly impressed with how seriouly this guy took his job.
2.) The chick who had a very large carry on that didn't really fit and kept hitting the seats until she picked it up and threw it down on my foot. Very large carry on smashing onto flip-flop clad foot.
3.) The guy who was in such a hurry to get to his first class seat he was literally 1/8 inch away from me and I really thought he was going to jump on me and get a piggy back to his seat. He was actually breathing down my neck. Not that there was anywhere for me to go in with a LINE OF PEOPLE IN FRONT OF ME.
4.) The lady who acted like the plane was actually her house and she was playing hostess to all the other passengers. She immediately removed her shoes and laid down across her row to take a nap, then after awhile got up to check her 3 carry ons and offered a blanket to me(I declined).
5.) The two chicks who were separated by about 4 rows and 8 people who had an extremely loud conversation about the difference in airport parking prices between Boston and Chicago. (if you're curious, it's $15 a day in Boston vs. $23 a day in chicago)
6.) The crazy flight attendant with scary spiky red hair and the weirdest eye makeup I've ever seen in my life who had a name that was something along the lines of "Pantonalikhobuiyea"
Awesome. It was a good flight, followed by a swell day here in B-town, with the beach, shopping, sight seeing, mani-pedis, and much more fun scheduled for tomorrow! Oh I love vacation......

Boston bound, baby!
Well, tomorrow I leave for Boston, where I will be for 4 glorious days of relaxation and fun. I have been looking forward to this approximately since I bought my ticket in March, a chance to hang out with Sacha and Toni who I obviously don't get to hang out with very much due to the fact that they live in another state, and a chance to just get away for a few days. We had a total blast last time I was there (at least I did, and they are allowing me to come back, so I guess it wasn't too painful for them) and I'm completely sure that it'll be more of the same this time. Of course, my list of things to do before I go keeps getting longer and longer, which could be kind of a problem.
Oh, thanks to my excellent friend Sarah (one of many excellent friends named Sarah) I got to see the trailer for the new Harry Potter movie which is coming out in November... it looks awesome. I suggest you check it out... www.apple.com/trailers I'm also quite pumped for the new book to come out July 16.
Tonight I go see the Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy with Sam. I was just thinking that I don't seem to know anyone who has ACTUALLY seen it, but I hope it'll be good. Fear not, I'll keep you posted!

Bandwagon, here I come!
Well, I suppose it was bound to happen sooner or later, right? I'd have to jump on the blogging bandwagon. I've been giving it some thought for awhile now...I dig reading what other people think... and my own thoughts are generally good enough to entertain at least me, so worst case scenario I write a blog that entertains only me. :)
Anyway, probably expect to see a lot of stuff about knitting and movies on here, because those are the two things I spend most of my time on.
And with that, I'm off! Good luck to me!
